WHO WE ARE
Union Church is a long standing community church with a strong desire to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The people at Union want to minister to all those who come and reach out to others where they may be found that they may join us in loving, worshiping, praying, learning, and most importantly, knowing Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the only path to salvation and becoming discipled to do the things God would have us do.
People at Union want to meet you and worship with you.
Our congregation is anxious to meet new neighbors and friends to share the message of Jesus and to bring new life into our congregation. The possibilities are numerous for this church, with beautiful facilities, to become a more vibrant part of this community. We want to be a welcoming church to you and your family.
We welcome folks from all walks of life. Children, young adults, senior adults are all a part of our congregation. Currently there is not a nursery provided but there is a nursery room with a place to tend your baby.
The Holy Bible is the basis for all teaching, preaching, and outreach.
Union is a Southern Baptist church and is a member of the Chattahoochee Baptist Association.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe there is one God, that he has manifested Himself to us as the trinity:
God the Father
God the Son, Jesus Christ
God the Holy Spirit
We believe God created all things, that he created humans in His likeness with a free will to answer his call for a love relationship with Him.
We believe that all have sinned or separated themselves from this loving relationship with God and that the only path to restore ourselves to Him is through His plan, faith in the Son, Jesus Christ, who offered Himself a blood sacrifice to save us from eternal separation from God.
We believe that this simple plan in which we renounce ourselves and proclaim Jesus Christ as the center of our lives is available to everyone and that once we accept this call, we are saved forever.
We believe that God communicates with us in many ways but primarily today through His inerrant word, the Holy Bible and through the Holy Spirit within us after we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior.
We affirm the doctrines set forth in The Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
